Limestone Floor Restoration in Sevenoaks

The Limestone was dark with very little shine or detail and daily maintenance was difficult as there was no longer any seal in the stone to protect it which means maintenance cleaning was not making much difference to the look of the floor. There was also damage which trapped the dirt and looked unsightly.

Below you see the work being carried out. Prior to work commencing the kickboards were taken up and doors appliances were protected.

Below is the final results, please note that the seal is still drying so the groute lines did lighten after.

Aftercare - General Cleaners like Flash, bleach and any cleaner which is not PH neutral and stone specific will remove the seal which is in the stone. Once restored and re-sealed it is important to use the correct cleaner, before leaving full details are given on how to care for the stone, including on which products will keep the floor looking good for longer.
